In 2021, my husband Anthony Wameli was diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal cancer. We started the journey of intense treatments, in a bid to save his life. Like so many during this time, I am devastated because until last month, I believed we were on the road towards recovery. Today morning 8th February 2023 he lost his battle due to respiratory complications and multiple organ failure. This is a trying time for me and my entire family. We have so many pending bills to cover including his funeral expenses and expatriating his body from Boston Massachusetts where he died to his final resting place in Kampala Uganda. Anthony has been dedicated human rights lawyer who always spoke for the voiceless. Anthony was also a Pastor and evangelist who even on his death bed worked towards winning souls for the kingdom by preaching about Jesus, salvation and eternal life. Anthony has been a gem, a loving husband, a hands on father and is survived by a wife and 3 sons 14, 12 and 9 who will miss him dearly. Your giving will make this trying journey easier to tread.
