Antiguan Dogs Freedom Flight to Canada
Antigua is a small island with a large population of stray dogs. The dogs are born into terrible conditions. Throughout their young life, they forage for food and struggle to survive. Dogs and Cats of Antigua is a 501(c)3 non-profit group. We work hard to help save the life of every dog we can through rescue, veterinary care, and rehoming. For many of these dogs, our organization is their only chance for survival. In order to help these precious souls, we work with our Canadian rescue partner Paws Across the Water to get them to forever homes in Canada.
In September, 35 of our dogs will fly to Canada. For them this is the doggy lottery but we need your help. This is their opportunity for a good life and when we send the dogs out, it frees us to pick up more dogs and start the whole process again. We are trying to raise $9,000 for the veterinary care of these dogs. This includes vaccinations, spay and neuter, and treatment of various medical conditions related to disease, malnutrition or injuries. Will you help us?
