Antoinne & Paulette's Catalina Island CIMI Trip

The purpose of this is to set up a fundraiser for my twins for their 7th grade Catalina Island CIMI Trip.

7th grade is an adventure for them, from their classes to their friends and a trip they have been dreaming about and excited for since they started attending Middle School. They have been hearing about this trip for years now since their uncle got to experience it when he was chosen to attend.

This is a 7th grade educational field trip to Catalina Island Marine Institute from October 18th to the 20th. From what I hear, they get to do all kinds of fun activities while they get to learn at the same time.

Spots are limited and to be considered to attend, they submitted an application in which they had to answer questions about why they would like to attend and how this would help in their education and why they should be chosen to represent their school; other factors were classwork & homework, attitude, and behavior. I already knew in my heart that they had a chance to be chosen, they are such great hardworking kids that I did not doubt they would make it into the list.

I cannot say how many times they asked me “Mommy are you sure we can submit?” “how are you going to get the money?” The only thing I could answer as a Mom was “Mommy is going to figure it out, you guys don’t need to worry about the money”

That time has come!! They were both chosen to attend the trip and I cannot be any happier for them.

The cost to attend the trip is $415 per student, which they need to turn in by October 12th, they also need to take extra money for the duration of the trip for food or any souvenirs. I wouldn’t even consider doing something like a fundraiser, but this is money that I do not have in hand to give to them.

I can assure you that any donation will be greatly appreciated, whatever it is in your heart to donate; we as a family thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
