Helping Tony Fight Cancer

If you know Tony (Anton Dimitrov) and I mentioned his name you'd most likely smile. Kind, caring, funny, BIG hearted - a type of person we need more of. Yet, we have to find a way to keep this one!
Tony was diagnosed with the rare and aggressive cancer - fibrosarcoma. It's not only aggressive but also very persistent. The timeline of his tireless fight is listed below. We have no time to waste, the results from this month (February) came back breaking hearts! The tumors in his lungs have enlarged and new tumors are found in his hip of which the largest is close to 10 cm (that's 4 inches people - the size of your fist!).
Tony has been in and out of treatments, searching for hope, for the miracle we all know is yet to be found. If you talk to him, you'll hear so much strength, so much love for live, for his wife Geri, so much hope! He is a fighter and we need to help him win this battle! Heck, let's help him win the war!
We all have our daily struggles, we all fight our own battles but if you are in a good place and have a good heart, please consider donating. Share the page, spread the word, let’s reach more people and help Tony fight cancer. Together we are stronger, be a part of saving Tony's life!

The story:
The cancer was first noticed in February, 2016 as a small lump in Tony's hip. It grew quickly with excruciating pain. The tumor (16 cm - 6.3 in) was removed in April but soon after that the pain returned and a new bigger tumor (20 cm - 7.8 in) was found. The second surgery was more invasive as some of the muscle to which the tumor was attached had to be cut. Unfortunately, metastases were found in Tony’s lungs as well. The aggressiveness and adaptability of the cancer makes it hard to threat with chemotherapy and radiation. The painful journey was only beginning.
Tony was limping badly, had to stop working and immediately seek treatment. Tony and his wife Geri spent their savings on a treatment which included insulin potentiated chemotherapy, hyperthermia, and immunotherapy. But the treatment could not stop the tumors. Nor did the clinical trial in which Tony was enrolled afterwards. Since September, Tony had to go through 4 cryoablation interventions (where they freeze the tumors with liquid nitrogen) due to multiple recurrences in the hip area. The most recent one was on January 18th. Ever since April of last year, the pain never let Tony alone. He says it is there to remind him that he cannot give up, that there must be a way and he just has to keep looking.
Tony had initially found a clinic in Germany which treats sarcoma with good success. The sum for that treatment is our GoFundMe goal but at this point a very steep number. Please help Tony in any way you can, every little bit counts. Let’s help Tony live!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
