Antonella Maniscalco's Cancer Battle

To know Antonella and Alex is to know a true love story. Their love for each other is genuine, selfless, compassionate and kind. They have a beautiful eight year old daughter and have worked hard to build a beautiful life together.
In February 2020 their life was turned upside down when Antonella was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer which has spread to other parts of the body. Since the diagnosis she has undergone chemo and radiation therapy as well as surgery and has had limited success. They are now being told that there isn't much more that can be done to heal her, but they will never stop fighting!
Between the diagnosis and the Covid pandemic the business that they built together will soon be shutting down. Antonella is the reason that the business flourished and is now too weak maintain the business. Alex worked in the catering/wedding business which has been nonexistent since the pandemic began.
Antonella is a talented and inspirational woman. She is passionate about her interior design business, her family and her friends. She is a devoted loving mother that always prioritizes quality time at home. They love cooking together as a family, especially Italian food. She is always putting other people before herself and will go out of her way to help others whenever she can. She is actively involved with her community and various local charities.
We have known Alex most of our adult life. Our parents were friends growing up in Sicily together and we met him as teenagers in Sicily. Soon after that he emigrated to the US in search of a better life and we all became like brothers. He has a tremendous sense of humor and is always a very positive person.
We know that they would never ask for help, but we are starting this GoFundMe to do whatever we can to make their lives a little less stressful during this difficult time.
Last time we spoke to Alex he said that he hoped God had better days for him and his family going forward. We hope the money that we raise will prove to them that indeed God does care and they have people in their life that truly care. They will use the money for medical and living expenses.
