Antonia Kay

Our team member and friend Antonia Kay has been selected to represent Australia at the prestigious EUBC Bocskai and Stranja Boxing Tournaments to be held in Bulgaria and Croatia on a self funded trip.

Antonia is a multiple state & national champion and last represented Australia at the 2019 IBA World Championships where she finished with an impressive 8th ranking, only losing to the eventual gold medal winner.

Antonia has since been qualified to represent Australia on the world stage but unfortunately, due to Covid related lockdowns the events were cancelled.

Regardless of the set backs Antonia has stayed focused in the gym and is keen to get back on the international stage.

The costs of being an full time athlete are extremely demanding, both personal and financial. The sactrifice to friendships, family, your body and opportunities away from sport are immesurable.

The financial costs of training, rehabilition, diet & travel all add to the stress of being an athlete, so we ask for your support to help Antonia reach her potential and represent her country with pride.

The total cost of flights and accommodation for this trip will be approx $6000, our goal is to raise $3000-$3500 to help cover these costs and any other expenses which arise during the trip.
