Any help for the Connor family is appreciated!

We started this GoFund me to help the family with funeral expenses, and to cover any costs that may come up for Ruth and also her husband Gerald who passed away 7 weeks prior. Unfortunately, when Dad had his major stroke, we were not aware that Mom’s cancer had came back and metastasized to her bones. No one could have guessed we were going to have to plan two funerals in such a short time. If you are unable to donate, please share the post and maybe a message of how you know the Connor family to bring a smile to their face in this hard time! Ruth was a beautiful, vibrant soul with a heart of gold, and her infectious smile could light up even the darkest of days. We all loved her so much and were so blessed to have her in our lives. She was so kind, generous and selfless; she would always put everyone else before herself. Ruth was the kind of person who would be there when you needed her, and she was always willing to lend an ear and a helping hand. She was a loving daughter, sister, an amazing wife, mother, grandma and a true friend to all. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye, and it's still hard to accept that Ruth is gone so soon. However, we can try to take comfort in knowing that she brought so much joy and love to all of our lives and how happy she was marrying the love of her life Gerald, they were married for 40 years! Gerald was a man of few words, but he always could put a smile on your face. He was an amazing Dad, Brother, Grandpa, and most importantly a friend to all. He had this sense of humor about him that only he sometimes understood. He loved to pick on all his nieces and nephews and crack jokes whenever he could. He especially loved to aggravate his grandkids and daughters. Ruth and Gerald will be deeply missed, but will be remembered fondly in our hearts forever. They are back together again watching over everyone and playing bingo together.
