Anything helps

Hi there, my momma has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer that affects 2 out of 1,000,000 people a year. She has stage 4 Synovial Sarcoma. It started in her left thigh but the pain she has had there for years was assumed to be due to the 2 back surgeries she has gone through in the past. Clearly that isn’t the case and by the time we received diagnosis it had already spread to her lungs.

We are going to do EVERYTHING in our power to get her better but things are about to get tough and I want to be able to provide any kind of financial and emotional relief for her. Since this cancer is so rare there isn’t a lot of information out there, but we are lucky enough to be referred to a sarcoma expert at UCSF. There is going to be a lot of driving and a lot of time off work and if there’s any way we can give back to my momma it would be so appreciated.

My mom has been serving our community for over 27 years at Mercy Hospital of Folsom in the family birth center. She has helped deliver thousands of babies in Folsom and I know from experience that she is an amazing nurse, for she helped bring my baby into this earth. My mom has dedicated her life to helping others and been a part of so many peoples best days of their lives and mourned with some on the worst days. Any help with brightening up her days and helping out with medical expenses would be so very much appreciated.
