Dave is known throughout Cambridge as Coach Dave, he loves his baseball and loves teaching and training children to play. David also works in Lynn, MA for GE Avaition he has been a loyal employee to them for so many years. Even still drives to work from Merrimac NH to Lynn, MA. He is a father to 2 daughters and 2 sons, he is a loving father who loves nothing more in this world than his children. Two days ago David has a medical emergency at his home, he was found unresponsive in his kitchen. Luckily his girlfriend Terri was home with him and quickly came to his aid. She called 911 and placed him on the ground where she started to perform CPR, till the paramedics came. Once they arrived they quickly took him into the ambulance and told her they were heading to Catholic Medical Center. His heart stopped 4 times in the ambulance ride, from merrimac to manchester. They revived him 4 times in that one trip alone.. it is such a scary thing to think about. Even harder to imagine that happening to someone, he is still here. Once at the hospital he was instantly put into ICU where he is currently, my sister Amanda and his other children are completely beside themselves. He is the family rock, the strong one, the one who has all the answers.. even if you don't want to hear them. (lol) Right now they are all hurting, last night during the night his heart stopped twice and again he was brought back. This man is a fighter, he is not going down without a fight because that is who David is and will always be. This man has been brought back 6 times in the matter of two days.. incredible... there are no words to really describe it but I tried. Today I brought Amanda up to see him, we both sat in the room one of us on each side of him. I kept telling him to get up, don't leave my sister alone with our mother (lol inside joke). I said all type of things I could think of, but nothing. Then I told him, next week is Amanda's birthday you need to be there.. all of a sudden his left arm that Amanda was holding shot up. I thought it was just reflexes and then.. he opened his eyes! I was stunned and my sister in completely shocked, she said. "Dad?" he instantly looked right at her. Obviously, he was out of it but he was looking around and when the nurse told me him he was in the hospital he looked right at her. All of the prayers everyone is sending him he hears you please keep praying for him. I made this page to help with some of his expenses he has, such as his car/rent. Just because he is in the hospital does not mean bills stop. So please whatever you can give to him would be appreciated, even if its just you sharing this page it would mean so much to the family. I would at least like to get his car paid off for him. Thank you all so much for your love and prayers to his family please keep praying for him.
