Aoife and Katie's Brighton Marathon Fundraiser

Hello! On Sunday 6th April, my sister and I will be taking on the epic challenge of the Brighton marathon!

Having completed the London half marathon in 2019 then going into hibernation, we decided to get our running shoes back on last summer with the new goal of completing a full marathon!

We are really excited and nervous about this challenge but we are training hard in sun, wind and rain so we can hopefully cross the finish line together.

We are aiming to raise £1,000 between two charities:

Cancer Research UK

This is a charity very close to our hearts, having dealt with this first hand with our immediate and wider family and friends. We would love to raise some money to help stop cancer and especially to remember our beloved grandmother Peggy.

Myositis UK

Sadly almost 8 years ago Aoife lost her lovely mother in law Jane, to an autoimmune disease called Dermatomyositis. We want to raise some money and raise awareness for this rare disease.
