Mommy's helping Daddy immigrate so I can live with both of my parents.

Declan’s story:
My name is Declan, and I celebrated my first birthday in May without my Daddy. Mommy is helping Daddy immigrate to the United States so that I can live with both of my parents. I was born in Ecuador, and I’m a dual citizen, but I cannot be with my daddy because he could not get a visa. My parents decided that I would have more opportunities and better health care here in the United States. Now I am living with Mommy at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, but I miss my daddy. An immigration attorney told Mommy that the only way Daddy could come here to be with me is to immigrate to the US. This is what my mommy says…

Mommy’s story:
I grew up believing that love knows no boundaries, but the love of my life is separated from his family by real world boundaries. I married the most wonderful Ecuadorian man, my best friend, in 2012. We have a young son, but our family has been separated since April 2015 because my husband has not been able to come to my country, though I lived four years in his. We have exhausted most of our savings on denied visas and are currently working with an immigration attorney. The attorney says that immigration is the final and only option for our family to raise our Ecuadorian American son together. With your support, you can help reunite my son with his daddy, giving him the opportunities and health care that he deserves. Your help with any amount is deeply appreciated.

Logistics:
We have borrowed money for the legal and visa fees. I have been working part time but am mostly depending on the goodwill of family for my living expenses until we get settled. My husband has a job upon arrival, but we need your help to get back on our feet.  Your generous contribution will help us cover the following expenses:

$160 denied student visa
$160 denied tourist visa
$3600 immigration attorney fees
$420 filing fees
$190 miscellaneous costs (covers immigration materials and similar expenses)
$325 Visa Issuance Fee
$120 affidavit of support
$165 medical exam fee
$1250 travel expenses (that brought Mommy and Declan home)
$1050 travel expenses (to bring Daddy home)
Total expenses: $7440
