Aoife's Bubbles is a newly formed charity (we are awaiting our registration but this is all in hand and in full progress).
Aoife passed away suddenly on 7th July 2019, aged 3 following a short (confirmed) battle with Germ Cell Cancer. Aoife's cancer was diagnosed as common childhood constipation on several occasions and her illness was missed by multiple healthcare professional on the 10+ times Aoife visited either the GP or A&E in the weeks leading up to her passing.
Aoife's Mum has decided to set up this charity to raise awareness and educate health care professionals on Germ Cell Cancer, a rare cancer but a very real one. The charity also wants to provide respite and joy for children with cancer and to provide for their families.
The support means to much to Aoife's family, but will also help change lives and save young lives.
Thank you,
Aoife's Bubbles. xx
