Aoife's Golf Dawn till Dusk Challenge

On Sunday 30th June 2019 Aoife Flanagan was admitted to Southend hospital and passed away extremely suddenly in the early hours of July 7th 2019 at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
We honestly never thought for a minute Aoife would not be coming home when we routinely took Aoife to an out of hours appointment following a fatal misdiagnosis of common childhood constipation.
Aoife in fact had cancer. Aoife had seen countless Doctors and A&E staff in the weeks leading up to her formal diagnosis on 2nd July 2019 at GOSH. It is Aoife's legacy to stop this from happening again, no child - should have a stage 4 cancer diagnosis for just 5 days after seeing countless healthcare professionals.
Aoife's Bubbles is the UK's only Childhood cancer charity dedicated to raising Germ Cell Education and awareness in children. As well as funding research into solid tumors and also, to provide acts of joy and respite to families affected by childhood cancer.
On Tuesday 30th June 2020 a team of 4 golfers will be honoring Aoife by attempting 100 holes of golf.
The dream team is made up of:
Patrick Flanagan - Aoife's Grandad
Colin Harrison - Aoife's Uncle
Chris Blosse - Manager of the LookOut Cafe Biggin Hill and family friend
Tom Parrish - General Manager of The Drift Golf Club and family friend.
All funds raised will be going directly to Aoife's Bubbles Charity - www.aoifesbubbles.co.uk to continue the fight against children's cancer.
