Ron and Michelle

I am writing this gofundme on behalf of two of our good friend and employees of 5 years, Ron and Michelle. They have worked for our trucking company, part time at the family restaurant, as well as being a loyal house sitter! Tuesday night after not being able to reach Ron, Michelle pinged his GPS at a local hospital in Salinas California, almost 1800 miles away. Ron was found unresponsive at a truck stop and taken by ambulance to the hospital. Michelle got on a plane the next morning to find him in critical condition in the ICU from a massive heart attack. After being intubated and sedated for several days, they were able to turn off sedation and remove heart pump. However, He has been placed on dialysis because his kidneys aren’t doing too good. Ron has woke up and opened his eyes, but the next big hurdle is testing his brain function since we are all unaware of how long he was down before he was found. Ron was the provider for the family and with Michelle having to stay at hotels in California, their savings is dissipating quickly. We are raising money to help cover her stay while Ron is in the hospital preparing for open heart surgery. They will also need help once he gets to come home as his days working potentially are gone.
