Double Lung Transplant

This is Lee Heyl. In November I was diagnosed with Indiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosus IPF. It is degenerative disease that has no curative treatment so transplant is the only way forward. By January I was no longer able to work so I am on disability at this point. Mayo Clinic has agreed to evaluate me to see if I fit their requirements but I can no longer drive to Jacksonville due to the amount of Oxygen I would need to carry. So I will need Medical Transport to Mayo. Its about a 9hr drive. Medicare does not cover this trip. This is just the first of many learning steps.
