Cassie Kidd

My name is Sandy Kidd and Cassie is my daughter-in-law and the mother of my grandson. For the last several years Cassie has had severe and persistent health issues because of medically induced liver failure ending with her being admitted to the ICU just after Thanksgiving. She was hoping to get on the transplant list, but her health is too fragile. She is currently in palliative hospice and her prognosis is grim. Her family still has hope, but financial issues complicate everything. She worked as a caregiver in an ALF where she is beloved by the residents. Not being able to work is both depressing and, again, a financial burden. To complicate things further, Cassie's husband (my son) had brain surgery 6 months ago and is now disabled, and while his disability benefits have been approved, they not completed yet. Making basic expenses, especially rent, is getting critical. This is where we are asking for help. Anything you can manage will mean the world to my family.
