‘Api’ Naro - Help with Medical Bills - Barossa Rams Rugby
Donation protected
Apsalome ‘Api’ Naro is a valued member of the Barossa Rams Rugby Club, having relocated to the region from his Native Fiji as part of the Federal Government’s Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme.
Whilst working and supporting his extended family back in Fiji, Api had been creating connections in the local community via the local Rugby Club, forming fast friendships.
Unfortunately for Api in his game on the 4th of May, he suffered a horrific broken leg requiring extensive surgery, with an extended recovery time ahead of him and with a loss of work as a result.
This GoFundMe is being created hoping to assist both Api and his family in these challenging times with both the expensive medical and rehabilitation costs required post-surgery, plus cost-of-living assistance whilst unable to work.
Whilst there is some Insurance provided by the governing bodies, it will be a long way short of the support Api will need.
The Rugby community is famously big-hearted in supporting their own, and any assistance provided would be graciously received by both Api, his family and the Barossa Rams Rugby Club.
