Apollo the Kitty get leg surgery.

"Hi, my name is Apollo, and I broke my right leg when playing way too hard. Please help my parents get me all patched up!"

Our names are Emma and Alex, and our 1-year-old cat, Apollo, broke his back right leg about 6 months ago.

I would say I won the cat lottery with Apollo. He is sweet and loves to talk to you and be held constantly.

His favourite things to do were to climb his cat towers and walls. Loved to run across the house and watch birds through the windows. And, of course, he loved to play fight with his brother Winston. Since the injury, Apollo has been imprisoned in a fabric pop-up dog kennel if he commits the crime of running or playing too crazy.

Since the injury happened took him to see the vet in swan river (which is a 4-hour drive) for X-rays and check-ups. We got a referral to the Saskatoon Veterinary Medical Centre (a 7-hour drive) and had him seen by a surgeon. Since then, we have been waiting to be scheduled, and now we finally have an appointment date for the surgery, Jan 4, 2023.

The money we raise will fund the leg surgery, which costs roughly $4000 and travel costs.
