Help Apollo Run Again!!

Saturn's Apollo is a 13 year old Appendix Quarter horse who has been my partner in crime since he was 4 months old. My own physical limitations had curtailed my own adventures until Apollo came. He has joyfully ( ok, most times mischievously so) carried me down trails, across rivers, and up mountains. He loves nothing more than to be allowed to run. Flying down trails, leaping anything in his path. This summer Apollo contracted a nasty reoccurring abscess. After much vetting and x-rays, Osteomyelitis (bone infection) in his coffin bone (inside his hoof) was discovered. Surgery to remove the affected tissue, therapeutic shoeing, an extended bout of anti-biotics and lots of happy thoughts will be needed to get Apollo back on his feet. Please help Apollo Fly Again.
