Hola, soy Amanda Pinos, trombonista y pedagoga graduada recientemente. Me gustaría invitarte a participar en la maravillosa aventura que estoy a punto de comenzar colaborando en esta campaña de crowdfunding.

Tras un largo camino, muchísima dedicación y esfuerzo, he sido admitida en tres de las universidades más prestigiosas de Estados Unidos y del mundo: DePaul University School of Music en Chicago, New England Conservatory en Boston, y Manhattan School of Music en Nueva York. Además, he logrado una plaza como Miembro Asociado en la orquesta académica de la Chicago Symphony Orchestra, la Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Para conseguir la admisión en estas maravillosas escuelas he competido por una plaza, a través de rigurosas audiciones, con candidatos de todo el mundo.

Estas tres instituciones me están apoyando de manera inconmensurable, pero mi realidad solo me permite considerar la más accesible económicamente. En DePaul, los costes para estudiar un curso de máster son $50.457, en los cuales se incluyen gastos de alojamiento, manutención y seguro de salud. La escuela tiene mucho interés en que estudie allí y, por eso, me ha rebajado $22.000 del precio de la matrícula, por lo que para poder realizar este máster, necesito un total de $28.000. Contando con la petición de varias ayudas y la inversión de todos mis ahorros, puedo afrontar una pequeña parte de los gastos del máster. Pero para poder pagarlo completamente necesito vuestra ayuda, por eso he decidido llevar a cabo esta campaña de crowdfunding.

Cualquier donación, por mínima que sea, será de gran ayuda. Me sentiría enormemente agradecida si compartes mi causa para su difusión y por supuesto, mi gratitud será infinita si puedes contribuir con cualquier donación. Como retribución a las personas o instituciones que donen una cantidad superior a 300€, me comprometo a ofrecer masterclasses o recitales que acordaremos ambas partes llegado el momento.

Hello, I am Amanda Pinos, a recently graduated trombonist and music educator. I would like to invite you to join me on the wonderful adventure I am about to embark on by contributing to this crowdfunding campaign.

After a long journey of dedication and effort, I have been accepted into three of the most prestigious universities in the United States and the world: DePaul University School of Music in Chicago, New England Conservatory in Boston, and Manhattan School of Music in New York. Additionally, I have secured a position as an Associate Member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, the training orchestra of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. To gain admission to these incredible schools, I competed for a spot through rigorous auditions against candidates from all over the world.

These three institutions are providing me with substantial support, but my current financial situation only allows me to consider the most affordable option. At DePaul, the costs for a master's program amount to $50,457, which includes housing, food, and health insurance. The school is very interested in having me study there and has offered a $22,000 tuition reduction. Therefore, I need a total of $28,000 to pursue this master's degree. With several aid applications submitted and the investment of all my savings, I can cover a small part of the master's expenses. However, to fully fund it, I need your help, which is why I decided to launch this crowdfunding campaign.

Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. I would be immensely grateful if you could share my cause to help spread the word, and of course, my gratitude will be infinite if you can contribute with any donation. As a token of appreciation, I commit to offering masterclasses or recitals to individuals or institutions that donate more than €300, which we can arrange at a later time.
