Today I address you with a heavy heart and the hope of making a significant difference in the life of a good person in the face of the unimaginable tragedy that changed his life in a terrible instant. He is a brave immigrant in search of a better life for himself and his family. He lost his left leg in the tragic accident where a man ran over a group of immigrants in Brownsville, Texas, leaving 8 dead and 10 injured in this tragedy.

His life essentially changed completely, emotionally and financially since he is still in recovery and cannot work. He is facing enormous challenges as he recovers and adapts to his new reality without his left leg. Gabriel has two small children who depend on him, he needs to get ahead for them and continue with his life and adapt to this new reality he is living.

We are launching this fundraising campaign to help Gabriel Gallardo cover medical costs, rehabilitation, and necessary modifications to his daily life. Every contribution, big or small, will make a difference and provide you with much-needed support at this difficult time.
