Hola! Mi nombre es Kendra Montoya, hija de Carlos Montoya, un padre cariñoso, luchador, y noble.
Hace poco recibimos la noticia que nuestro papá fue diagnosticado con un adenocarcinoma colorrectal, específicamente en el recto inferior.
Durante los últimos años, nuestro papá se ha enfrentado a una situación económica difícil, por lo que no contamos con los recursos necesarios para comenzar a combatir este nuevo reto. Nos encontramos en la necesidad de solicitar cualquier ayuda o apoyo, ya sea haciendo una oración, publicando, o donando dentro de sus posibilidades para poder costear el inicio del tratamiento de papi.
Recibimos los resultados de la tomografía computada (TC) de Tórax contrastada y resonancias magnéticas de tórax y pelvis contrastadas, cuyos resultados indican una lesión infiltrativa tumoral del recto inferior con compromiso del canal anal contactando además la próstata sin adecuado plano de clivaje por probable infiltración, con margen de resección circunferencial positivo y adenopatías asociadas (rT4brN2aMo)
Para comenzar, fue remitido a un tratamiento inicial combinando radioterapia y quimioterapia de tipo oral (Capecitabina x 500 mg #__175__TAB) diariamente durante 28 días, con el propósito de posteriormente evaluar el avance del tratamiento y determinar la siguiente etapa del mismo, entre ellas la posibilidad de ser intervenido quirúrgicamente.
Dada la localización del tumor, este le causa molestias y dolor en algunas actividades cotidianas, entre ellas ir al baño, razón por la cual le indicaron una dieta rigurosa que se basa únicamente en frutas, vegetales, algunas proteínas: huevos y pescados, y numerosos suplementos. Dicho régimen tiene una duración inicial de 6 meses, y al ser en su mayoría líquido, requiere un gran volumen de los mismos (por ejemplo, sacos de zanahorias, manzanas, remolachas, pepinos, entre otros; semanalmente), que acarrea un gasto adicional muy elevado.
