Apoyo para la quimioterapia de Jose!

Hace pocos meses me encontraron un tumor en el testículo izquierdo, me operaron y lo retiraron, pero con los nuevos exámenes se determinó que el cáncer hizo metástasis local y se alojó en un ganglio. Por esto, debo empezar tratamiento de quimioterapia a la brevedad.

Como muchos ya saben me encuentro en Barcelona desde hace un año estudiando y los últimos meses he vivido de mis ahorros y de la práctica profesional. Si bien el tratamiento está cubierto por la seguridad social en España, lamentablemente no podré trabajar durante estos 3 meses y tendré que incurrir en gastos para que mi madre venga desde Santiago a acompañarme, es por eso que les pido su apoyo.

Gracias a todos y todas de antemano por lo que puedan aportar no sólo económicamente, sino también en sus oraciones (cualquiera sea el credo), buenas energías y mensajes de cariño.

Hello everyone

My name is Jose.

A few months ago, I was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

I was operated on and my post-op results indicated that despite the surgery the cancer has reached a metastatic state meaning it has spread to other parts of my body, meaning I need to undergo quimioterapia right away.

I’m fortunate to be currently living in Barcelona, where the medical system is free but due to my student status and foreseeing recovery time, I will be unable to continue with my paid internship, making it very difficult for me to sustain myself during and after the quimioterapy rounds.

I’m not a person who asks for help, so this campaign makes it extremely difficult for me to ask for help knowing there is so much hurting in the world. The funds received during this campaign will support in bringing my mum to Barcelona to look after me, cover food, rent and bills.
