Appalachian ATCS & Railroad Radio Feeds

This GoFundMe historically was for the purchase of equipment and to maintain a network of ATCS railroad radio codeline servers across portions of Appalachia, but as the railroads have heavily transitioned to CTC over ITCnet (220MHz system shared by PTC) the availability of ATCS-covered areas is diminishing, and a resurgence in radio feeds has begun to fill the gap that was once covered by ATCS.

This fund covers the costs to purchase equipment, including computers, power supplies, software-defined receivers (SDRs) and radios, coax, antennas, and other miscellaneous components to maintain these mountaintop and local radio feed sites. All funds received are used to cover these costs.
