Appalachian Trail Promo Film

I've had many adventures in my life but a lot of the big ones came after I turned 80. I've been the oldest man to paddle source to sea on the Mississippi River, twice! The last time was in 2022 when I was 87, that was tough!
I've got the age record for walking rim to rim to rim across the Grand Canyon (and back!) and I'm also the oldest guy to walk the Florida National Scenic Trail.
I also enjoyed a long walk along the length of the Appalachian Trail when I was 82 years ago, but since my friend broke that age record when he was 84 I've decided to go back and try to get it again.
In September 2025 I'm going to start walking the 2200 mile Appalachian trail just after I turn 90 years old. I have saved up to cover the costs of my hike and food and fuel for my shuttle drivers, but the funds raised here will help us make a documentary about what might be the last big adventure of my life.
It'll take me the best part of a year and as I hope you can see from the film above, I'm very excited about sharing this next chapter of my story with you. I really hope you can follow along, and even if you can't support the fundraiser please do share it to your friends and family.
