This fund has been created to provide financial assistance to those displaced. Your generous assistance and support are urgently needed to help the Flood Victims Greater Mundri, South Sudan.
Heavy rains and the massive flooding in the Greater Mundri region, has caused the unprecedented displacement of people, mostly children, and women, resulting in devastating destruction and damage of farms, property, and infrastructure in the Greater Mundri Area. Current figures report the number of households affected by the flooding as 1,942 and 9,852 individuals.
The flooding has rendered thousands of vulnerable victims homeless, without shelter and food, and succumbing to preventable diseases and suffering psychologically from shock and stress. They urgently need relief and humanitarian assistance. We need to relieve their severe suffering and save lives from imminent risk and danger and place them on the road to recovery to rebuild better. The Internal Province of Amadi of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan in conjunction with the Mundri Rural Development Agency(MRDA) appeal strongly to all International and National Humanitarian Agencies in South Sudan and globally to come urgently to the aid of the helpless suffering victims of the flood in the Greater Mundri Area and contribute generously to their pressing needs for humanitarian assistance especially food, shelter, medical supplies, and other amenities.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
