Appeal to Help My Friends in Gaza

I am fundraising for the Diab family, my dear friends in Gaza. The Diabs are a family of 12, comprising two parents and ten children, with the youngest being just 9 years old. They are currently residing in Deir el Balah, Gaza and unfortunately are facing dire circumstances amidst the ongoing war. Each day brings a worsening shortage of essential resources such as food, shelter, and medical supplies along with the skyrocketing prices. The threat of displacement also intensifies as more military strikes are now targeting southern Gaza where they reside.

Medical Assistance

The father of the family, unfortunately suffers from advanced Hepatitis B alongside other chronic medical conditions affecting his lungs and digestive system. His condition requires dietary restriction, daily oral medicines, and frequent medical evaluations. The medication is unfortunately very challenging to obtain due to scarcity and high cost and he is currently relying on his last available bottle. Needless to say the medical assistance is currently not possible with the hospitals being out of service and the ambulances being very restricted.

House Repair

The home of the Diabs suffered remarkable damages due to the intense airstrikes and currently requires extensive repair and maintenance to shelter them from the harsh winter conditions.

Food and Water

With over 1.8 million people displaced and seeking refuge in southern Gaza, access to food and clean water became limited and unaffordable.
