Appeal to help Rupesh Dong

Respected Family and Friends,
It is with great sadness that we inform you, Mr. Rupesh Dong has been fighting a long deadly battle against tuberculosis (TB) at St George Hospital for the last eight months. Visiting him frequently throughout his hospital stay period, it was a very difficult period. After eight months of hospital inpatient stay, with grace of god and everyone’s blessings, Rupesh has been discharged to home with a long road of recovery. Since Rupesh did not have his medical insurance and was out of work for so long, they are really struggling financially. Rupesh’s mother Mrs. Krishna Maya Dong has also arrived recently from Nepal to take care of their only son Rupesh.
As myself and few community leaders have been involved closely in Rupesh’s case and visited him frequently at the hospital, we have seen the hardship and tears on Rupesh’s mother eyes. His entire family has been in deep shock for so long. Once again we thank god for giving Rupesh a second chance in life and he is determined to live longer and take care of his family. Mr. Rupesh Dong is a kind and compassionate person, who is the joy and light to his family.
As we all know the cost of living outside hospital is very high in Sydney. On top of their living costs, they have to pay the huge amount of medical expenses and regular professionals’ visits. We know that there has been multiple cases and we are truly grateful towards our generous people. Once again no matter how small, your participation to achieve success in this genuine cause would be greatly appreciated by Rupesh’s family during this difficult time.
I am personally grateful and whole heartedly thankful to our kind and generous people like you. Whenever there is need then we all come together and unite. This is the beauty of our people and the community.
