Apple Creek Flash Flood Victim
Donation protected
Yesterday evening a freak flash flood hit Apple Creek. One of the main areas that the flood decided to target was my Son's mobile home. I called 911 because my grandchildren were in the home with my Son's mother in law. They arrived and used a rescue boat to get them out safely...So So Grateful because this could have gone a different way in a hurry. But today.....we could see the damage....it is overwhelming to us. This family of 4 lives pay check to pay check and has no means other than the help we can provide to overcome this huge obstacle of having a home back. It looks as if this once home to them is now gone. The Red Cross will be out to make a determination but it does not look good at all. They need money to keep going, seeing him trying to put it back together today breaks my heart that I cannot provide more....This is my way of trying to help him. His mobile home and contents are uninsured. The car that they did not have enough time to move is uninsured. He is desperate at this point and overcome with worry about his kids safety.
Any amount at all would be a cherished gift to them at this point. I will insure that your money goes directly into their hands.
I left the amount at 2500.00 and I am sure that it will far exceed that amount. But I have no idea how to reach out like this.
Thank you in advance. Jeff Jones
