Applebee Family Support

The Applebee family has recently suffered the tragic and sudden loss of Erik Applebee at 45 years old on March 25, 2023. Erik leaves behind his wife of 18 years Shanna, and their 3 children who are 15, 10 and 6.

Erik was a loving husband, father, brother, coach, mentor and friend to many. Erik was the Regional Administrator for King County for the Department of Children, Youth and Families for King County. Erik was dedicated to social work, helping others and making an impact and had recently celebrated 20 years of service. In the spirit of serving others, Erik also served on the board for Redmond West Little League and was a Baseball and Softball Coach for over 6 years coaching 16 teams, and in 2022 took on managing/coaching a Select 10 U baseball team. Erik left his mark on so many with his kindness, positive and genuine nature and always with a side of humor.

Erik was one in a million and genuinely an amazing human - there is no replacement for the void his loss has left in our world.

Funds raised will help support the Applebee family with the costs of funeral services and financial needs as they navigate this difficult life change.
