Applesauce's Unexpected Emergency Surgery Fund

This young fuzzy gentleman is Applesauce, otherwise known as Bappers, Mr Sauce, Sauce Boss, and more. He’s my little man who just turned one year old on January 3rd, 2025, and serves as my ESA for my anxiety. He was found after being abandoned in a box next to a car wash, lived in a lovely foster care rescue, and was eventually adopted by me. He is the sweetest and cuddliest kitty I’ve ever known, a true friend and angel.

A little over a week ago, he underwent a massive surgery for an intestinal obstruction. He managed to swallow an lost earplug which could not be flushed out, and while it was eventually removed, complications from surgery kept him in the hospital longer than anticipated. He’s on the road to recovery and is back at home on antibiotics, painkillers, and nose drops to clear up some post operative infections.

Mr Sauce is just the sweetest boy, and I’m sure if you met him you’d agree. When he’s not making sweet or goofy faces, he loves playing with his sister Crab Rangoon. He loves to snuggle with anyone he meets given time, and is the “cat of the people” to my friends. Even after a traumatic five days of illness, surgery, and post op recovery, he still comes right up for pets, rolling over for scratchies.

For his belated birthday, I’m asking for any financial support possible to help me cover his vet bills. This surgery was completely unexpected, and has caused significant financial strain. Literally anything helps, I am a college student and am working hard to make up the funds as best I can in my own employment as well.

The funds raised will go directly towards paying off his vet bills, with the extra being put towards his follow up appointments. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. ❤️‍
