Appleton Fields woodland path - fundraiser

Let’s Finish the Path Together! Every contribution helps to ensure that Appleton Fields is accessible to everyone, all year round.

One of the key challenges for the Appleton Fields Association was to make our beautiful meadow and woodland accessible to all, all year round.

Phase one was the installation of an all weather, sympathetically aesthetic circular path in the meadow.

Construction of the meadow path was completed in April 2025 - phase two will add a path to the woodland, for which we are actively fundraising and planning.

We are delighted to have been awarded £20,000 from the National Lottery Community Fund and £750 from the Duchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund.

However, since first obtaining quotes, conducting due diligence on the submitted bids and setting out the specifications for the meadow path, costs increased significantly.

This is where we need YOUR help to finish the paths.

At this stage, with our current funds, we will be unable to complete the full meadow and woodland walk.

Please note that Appleton Fields Association cannot change the 'suggested donation' amount as it is created by gofund.me and in no way reflects our expectations.
