Appreciation Breakfast for The Park
Donation protected
On February 23, Plymouth, Canton and Salem High Schools (aka 'The Park') had a shelter-in-place incident, which fortunately ended up being an action taken out of extreme concern for the students.
The parents of Park students, and the surrounding community, wish to show our appreciation for the dedication and professionalism shown by the teachers, staff, and Canton police during the shelter in place. Therefore, we are sponsoring a breakfast on March, 9, 2018 for all of the teachers and staff at the 3 schools. The breakfast of baked goods and coffee will be catered by the students in Salem High School's Culinary Arts program.
Donations to this account will be used to cover the cost of the breakfast. Any extra money collected in this account will be divided between the schools, to use as the principals feel is appropriate.
ALSO, thank you cards or posters will be available at the Parent Council meeting on 3/2, if you'd like to add your signature.
3/1 UPDATE: WOW! We've hit goal in less than 24 hours! We are leaving the fund drive open for now. Due to the second shelter-in-place event on 3/1, we are also planning to get breakfast for the 150 P-CCS bus drivers, many of whom spent more than 6 hours in their busses on 3/1, dropping off our students, and then turning right back around to pick them all up again.
