Appreciation Circle for VFW post 6393

My name is Billy Tustin and I am a life scout currently in troop 10 of Yardley, PA. I have created this Go Fund Me in order to help fund my Eagle Scout Project, one of the final steps I need to complete my eagle rank requirements.

For my eagle project I am building what I have decided to call an Appreciation circle for VFW, (Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States) post 6393. The Appreciation circle will be a 16 foot circle with a 48 foot circumference made out of pavers. It will be used by the local members of the VFW Post 6393 and their neighboring community as: A place one can go for reflection and remembering those that have served our great nation; A gathering place where a removable fire pit and benches will be placed; A meeting place for veteran’s focus groups and counseling; A central location for a podium during many VFW Post 6393 events, such as their community family outdoor movie nights, car shows, scouting events and many community gatherings.

The Appreciation Circle represents that gratitude we all feel towards our veterans and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices that helped to maintain our freedom.

For the amount of money needed, I believe the price will likely be $3,930. I am reaching out to the community to seek donations that will help to purchase the materials needed to complete this project. All funds will go directly towards the VFW to be used by me when it comes time to build the project.
