Appy's recovery Fund
Donation protected
Appy, our Father, who is a Korean War Vet and has been our Volunteer Fire Chief and First Responder for Station 79, Mtn Springs, Clark County, Nevada for over 39 years, has suffer a major accident while attempting to stop a run away truck before it rolled down a mountain highway into on coming traffic.
He suffered broken ribs and abrasions. However, the worst was a fractured skull and head trauma, due to bleeding on the brain after his head hit the asphalt from being thrown from the vehicle while directing it back out of traffic and hitting a guard rail.
His ribs have healed, as have the abrasions. However, the trauma to his brain has affected his ability to function by himself. At this time he is in need of 24 hour care. We know it will be a long road back to recovery. The cost of which we do not have the means to cover.
So we are reaching our to our community of friends, family and any who can assist in helping us bring our amazing, strong and big Hearted Father back from this tragic injury.
We gratefully appreciate all who can support us in this effort.
Thank you with all our Heart.
