April & Allen had a bad motorcycle wreck

Donation protected
On Thursday, September 8, 2022, April and Allen were riding his motorcycle in the North Carolina Mountains when a lady in her 70s hit them. The cars behind them crashed to keep from running over them, and one of the drivers went into cardiac arrest. They are fortunate to be alive. God was definitely with them both that day. Unfortunately, they both sustained terrible injuries. Allen has a broken elbow, broken heel, broken hip, broken upper right leg, broken shoulder and a couple of broken ribs. He had surgery yesterday and had a steel rod put into his leg. April had surgery on Thursday night and had a steel rod placed in her upper right leg. Unfortunately, her lower right was beyond repair and will be amputated below her knee on Monday. Allen is a truck driver, and April is a lead car driver. They have two children living at home, a 13-year-old and a not quite 4-month-old. With their injuries, it will be many months before they can return to work.

We want to raise enough to keep them going for 6 months to a year until they are back on their feet.
