April & Baby Eli with Emergency Birth Expenses

Baby Eli has finally arrived! And she and momma April are both doing fantastic! But it wasn't an easy process at all ...

After being denied the possibility of a natural birth with our boys, April was determined this time around to have the natural birth that she always wanted. April fought tooth and nail with possibly the best midwife in the world for almost 43 weeks to have baby Eli naturally. She got as far as her water breaking, dilating to 8 centimeters and having major contractions for close to 36 hours. She is one tough cookie!

But unfortunately, it wasn't meant to be, as baby Eli appeared to be somehow "stuck" in position and unable to fully enter the birth canal. So after April's incredible effort, she was forced to go to a hospital to have another c-section to safely deliver the baby.

We are overwhelmed with joy that our sweet little baby girl is finally now here with us safe and sound! But in addition to the trauma of this unexpected/unplanned/emergency situation, April is now faced with extra expenses that are coming at an already incredibly difficult time.
