April’s Fight for Life

Shortly after Christmas, my wonderful sister in law April Turner had major surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. Because of medical reason the drs could not remove it all. So for 3 weeks she underwent radiation and chemotherapy traveling back and forth to Memphis,Tn. On January 27th we found out that the treatment is not  working because she has a rare and aggressive type of cancer. It is called small cell carcinoma of the hypercalcemic type.  Her drs have recommended a Dr in New York that specializes in this type of cancer. This will mean multiple trips back and forth to New York for her and her husband Paul.  We are trying to raise enough to get them there and back, hotel stays, and any other cost that may arise.  We are asking for any support in this trying time.
