Heading to Nice: IM 70.3 World Championships

As many of you know, I have taken the leap to participate in 70.3 distance triathlons, which has led me to accept a slot to the 2019 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships in Nice, France on September 7th. This is one of my biggest ambitions, yet, but as a working student, I need your help to get me to Nice.



Background

Since starting in triathlon 4 years ago, I have surpassed many of my expectations, including returning to endurance sport competition after 2 major hip surgeries.  This past year, I've been training more consistently and productively. 

Some of my most recent race results include:
September 2018: 3rd overall female at Lobsterman Triathlon
March 2019: 1st cat 4/5 at Chris Hinds Sunshine Criterium
June 2019: 2nd 18-24 Female (17th overall female) at IRONMAN 70.3 Connecticut (the race where I accepted my slot to Worlds)

This fall, I'm beginning a graduate program, another fantastic opportunity, but it does put a strain on my budget. This is where your help comes in.

Cost Breakdown:

Flights: $650 
Hotels: $300-500
Racing Association Fee: $45
Race Fee: $479
Trains: approximately $250
Total: $1724-1924

I'm personally able to cover up to $400 (not including food), which only leaves me to reach $1500 before flying to France.
