Asking for help has never been easy

Honestly, never in a million years would I have thought that my family would be in the position we find ourselves in.

Like all long stories, I suppose it's best to start from the beginning.

In the early hours of Mother's day 2023, My wife Tessa and I were sprung from sleeping in that day by an emergency call to get ourselves up to the Hospital in Lethbridge AB, as fast as Humanly Possible! Our youngest child, our Beautiful daughter Beuxy (Bowie) was found in the middle of a Grandmaul seizure, with no indication as to how long she had been gripped by it, or if she hurt herself as it took over her body, our best indicator tells us that it held her for an extended period of time was the fact that she had soiled herself while held in its grasp. Upon our arrival, my heart, our hearts were broken on several fronts! Seeing your child fully intubated, followed by the ER Doc explaining why we should say our final goodbye's to our 15 year old daughter, because she may never wake up, or be a functional human being potentially if she does, as they prep her for the air ambulance trip to the Calgary children's hospital.

Never in my life has anything hit me so hard!

The gods were on our side that day because she woke up only in fear of her new found predicament and after 10 days of observation, 1 accidental kidney shut down due to discovering allergies to common seizure meds and the inability to force more seizures, she was sent home. only for less than 3 weeks later it to happen again, and just as evil as her first. Paramedics fill our home, 2nd ambulance trip, followed by a 2nd of 3 helicopter flights.

Her 2nd arrival in Calgary did bring us a diagnosis and some direction in the beginnings of the madness that the last 16 months have been.

Frontal lobe epilepsy, in its most potent form! As most know I tour and travel for work, and needless to say I could never forgive myself had I left and the worst case scenario happens.

The last year has crushed us financially, 11 ambulance rides, 3 helicopter flights, uncommon medication, Tessa forced to leave her job to provide 24hr care and my gigs to far away to be able to leave home.

Most months we had to choose to pay our bills or eat for the week. Rent our home for the month or buy our daughter the thing that's keeping her from seizing. We have fallen further and further behind as the clock spun faster and faster. Of course our landlord was not happy with us, but the anonymous figurehead of the Land company, didn't believe us. after all the proof and our obvious struggles, this company decided to pull the bailiffs in and remove us from our home. I understand that this was coming, there was nothing we could do I never wanted to not pay our bills, but as the year rolled on the cost of living shot through the roof and it became impossible for us to catch up.

The people involved with removing us from our home were all human beings and I could tell it was probably the hardest day any of them had doing that type of work.

The court order gave us 90 days to remove our possessions and pets from the property but our landlord gave us no time at all and procceded to rob us the moment we left, while promising to take care of our animals until I got back from the festival I had to do that upcoming weekend.

It has been almost 2 months since eviction day, the day they robbed us of pretty much everything except the clothes on our backs and a few of the kids possessions.

our cats are all dead for all we know and our items sold. we have no idea.

We are alive we have eachother, we lost things it's only stuff it's not important. what's important is that we're living in a hotel, while trying to live life with as little stress for Beuxy as possible. Not easy in a hotel.

I'm asking for the money not to replace anything but in the mean time I need help getting my family out of this hotel.

Please if you can give a dollar, pennies, a bit of food, I could help anyone in exchange for help. I'll mow your lawn, in exchange for help. I was able to save prettyuch all of my photography gear, I'll do family photo shoots in exchange for help boudoir shoots, anything. if someone has a basement suite for rent. if someone has a washer and dryer we could use so we don't have to keep using the laundromat that would be a huge help.

Besides experiencing Beuxy in the hospitals, asking for help has been the hardest thing I've ever had to Do.

Thank you for taking the time to read this I appreciate it.

From all the Hogan's in the hotel.

We thank you may the gods Bless you all.
