Save Our Club: Team Paulding

Tax deductible

Paulding County Boys & Girls Club Supporter,

After more than 20 years the Paulding County Boys & Girls Club is facing permanent closure. The Paulding County Club must secure
$200,000 by October 1, 2020 to support club costs and keep its doors open past December 2020. As the only youth serving organization of its kind in the area, this closure would be
devastating for the young people and families of this community.

Who We Serve: Each year Paulding Boys &
Girls Club serves 180 youth and sees over 95 young people ages 6-18 each day afterschool and during school breaks. Club membership
for most is only $150 per year. Many of our
members receive free or reduced lunch (79%) and (74%) are living in single parent
households. While these statistics do not
define our kids, they underscore the need for
support.

What We Do:  Our club provides an
environment where all youth are safe, visible, and supported. We offer tools and resources
enabling our youth to succeed in school, live a healthy lifestyle, and become leaders in their
communities. We serve as a bridge connecting families toeducational, financial, and
social/emotional support. The club provides
members academic assistance, exposure to
the arts through cultural festivals and plays,
access to sports programs and, most
importantly, mentorships.

For some members, the club is their outlet to
be who they are without judgement, criticism, or explanation. For other members, our club is their safe haven from being home alone or the daily stressors encountered at school or at
home. And for the club staff, proudly known as “Team Paulding”, we are family!

Under the leadership of visionary
administrators, our daily mission is to create memorable experiences for our kids, giving
them a space to dream bigger, love more, and
respect and appreciate each other’s
differences. We are present to celebrate the
wins with our members and comfort them
during their defeats because we never want
them to feel like they are alone.

How Can You Help:  We are requesting your
financial support? If the funds are not restore, we will close our club doors and the impact on the community will be great.

Any level of sponsorship is appreciated and is deductible for federal income tax purposes.
