Doug Devine Memorial Fund

This is for Doug Devine (#44 member since 1997)
Husband to Kellie Ann, Father to Murphy & Jackson. 

Part hippie, part philosopher, part sports fan---
ALL HEART.  

Doug is reaching the end of his battle with brain cancer.  His diagnosis is 3 months at best.  It's been tough since they moved to Arizona for Doug's health,  but Kellie was managing to work as a vegan chef.  Lately though, she has been staying at home to help care for Doug as his life ends.  They have some nursing help from hospice care, but it is not enough.

There were some irregularities in the way Motion Picute Health handled his diagnosis originally which delayed his treatment,  making his ultimate diagnosis all but unavoidable.  Legal avenues were investigated in that direction, but led nowhere.  So, money is tight and there is never enough.  Murphy is working a bit now and Jackson is concentrating on graduating from high school this spring--it's one thing that is keeping Doug going.

I am setting this up independently, as the family would shy away from directly asking.  If you might have a few extra dollars to pay tribute to your friendship with Doug...it would be appreciated.
