Mom Akyla (:-) leads with love, and the practicality of adapting to a new country - a huge and complicated load to carry alone.

Zainab (25 yrs) is a force of nature with a deep well of capability. She brightened the apartment with an Xmas tree and decorations.

Husni (23) serenades with beautiful Syrian songs, and loves to learn French and English. Heavy lifting?...Husni is there with amazing speed and strength.

Fatema (21) is a quiet, kind and smiling soul. And can she cook!

Hussein (15) is learning to play piano. His smile makes the sun shine.

Mohammed (12) loves to dribble the basketball, and make perfect pizza.
