Help Repair Aquinnah's Church

The Baptist Church of Gay Head, founded in 1693, is the oldest Indian Baptist Church in North America. It is currently in dire need of repairs. This is what we need:

A new paint job for the inside of the Church. The paint is peeling and in horrible condition! The cost of painting will be $5000.

New carpet for the aisle and pulpit areas: $1500

New septic system for the parsonage: $6500

Total for all repairs is: $13,000

It is a shame that this historic Church is in such trouble. These are just minor fixes which will help quite a bit. This means so much to us because we need to preserve this Church properly. All things that bring community to the town of Aquinnah are so important and special. This is the only Church in Aquinnah and is such a wonderful space for those who know and love it. Please help with any amount you can!
