Nicaragua Medical Mission trip
Hey everyone!
As some of you may know I am a student at the University of Southern California studying to be a physician assistant. One of our program's missions is to be a part of the solution to help people in underprivileged areas both here and abroad, so I am planning on going to Nicaragua this summer to bring medical care to a small city called Granada. In Granada around 50% of the population live in extreme poverty and many need medical attention. We will be traveling there for 7 days and treating the residents, both adults and children, of this city with any medical care that they may need. As a student it is tough to fund a trip like this and it is something that I will be doing with loan money that I use to pay for my living and my studies. I was hesistant to make this page because I am not one that likes to ask for money, but I do believe that these people need help and I want to be among the people who help them. Your donation, even a small one, would be immensely helpful in getting me to Nicaragua. Any money I raise above the donation goal will go to the organization medical missions which helps connect healthcare volunteers around the world.
