AHS Marching Band Prop Carts Eagle Project

FINAL UPDATE: Hello Everyone! This past Saturday the 5th, with a group of volunteer from my Scout Troop 794, we built all 4 panel carts! It was a great day, and everything got built much faster than I had expected. Thank you all so much for making this possible and helping me make another step towards Eagle!
2ND UPDATE: This weekend I've purchased almost all of the supplies, and there is more than enough left in the GoFundMe to purchase the rest. Any extra money, which also means any further donations, will be going to the Arapahoe Band Boosters Scholarship Fund. Thank you all so much for helping make this project happen!
UPDATE: Over the weekend, my Eagle Mentor Mr. Farr, my Dad, and I, built a prototype, shown in the Picture below. While I intend to tweak a couple of things for the final couple carts (including putting on the second piece of plywood on the right), this is very close to what they will look like.
Hello! My name is Dean Carothers, and I am a Life Scout of Troop 794. This is a fundraiser for my Eagle Scout Project: creating transportation carts for the Arapahoe High School Warrior Marching Band! While I'm only starting my third year of marching, the tight knit band community is one that I'm happy to be part of and want to give back to.
While the competitive season is on hiatus, I want to spend that down time to help with the failing equipment. Below is a picture of an old panel cart, which the band uses to transport props (mostly the fabric panels in the picture above, hence the name). For my project, volunteers will be building 4 carts out of pressure treated wood. These volunteers will be various members of my troop, band, and friends with the supervision of Troop Adults.
As I'm going into my senior year at Arapahoe High, I am aiming to complete the work days either before school starts, or within the first two weekends.
Any donations that you can spare in these hard times are very appreciated. Linked here is my cost estimate, so that you can see more specifically what your donations will be used for, with any excess donations going to the beneficiary, the Arapahoe Band Boosters scholarship fund.
