Hi, my name is Nathan and I’m asking for solidarity funds to help my guys on strike against our employer, the Armstrong Regional Cooperative. As of Jan 12/25, we’ve been on strike for 18 weeks to bring our employer back to the table. After four days of negotiations over our first contract, the ARC issued a last and final offer of 1% per annum over four years. They refused to let their workers table a wage proposal, they refused arbitration. The entire logic of the cooperative movement is that capital expenditures, by law, stay local, and yet they refuse to entertain paying a living wage.
