ARC Shakespeare behind bars

Hello! I started ARC (artists' rehabilitation coalition) in 2015 after volunteering with a program at the men's prison for a few years. We have had wonderful success for years, even post-Covid, when we came back strong with a production of The Good Woman of Setzuan by Bertolt Brecht followed by Romeo and Juliet, just in the past 13 months!

Right now we're at an important point. We are bringing new folks into the program, holding auditions for the first time, and also coming up to the Christmas season. This fundraiser is for the following things: new tee shirts for new members, small presents for Christmas (the core 8 women in the program really want JOURNAL/PLANNERS!), and copies of plays!

*I would LOVE to raise $1000 beyond this to have a WEBSITE made so that I can begin to grow ARC and expand the programming even beyond the prison gates!
