Moving disaster: Car and all our belongings stolen

Hello all, my brother, Archie, and his partner, Jo, are a young couple from country Victoria and were literally hours away from moving to Queensland when their car was stolen, with almost everything they own inside it. We've been doing everything we can to try and recover what was taken, but their insurance only covers any damage to the car and up to $500 worth of stolen items.

While the investigation is ongoing, it seems that they stand to lose more than $20,000 of personal items. They have lost both of their computers, all of their clothes, their TV, their pillows and bedding, their camping gear, not to mention irreplaceable photos and sentimental items.

We are not interested in using this money for anything but rebuilding Archie and Jo's lives, and should their personal belongings be found and returned to them, we will, of course, return any money donated. In truth, they are deeply uncomfortable with asking for financial aid, but they have lost everything besides the clothes on their backs and they are desperate.
