Please help if you can.
My name is Wayne and I am currently organising an event to help raise money for a 1 year old boy called Archie who lives on the Isle of Dogs E14 with his family who have lived here for many many years.
Archie got diagnosed in October 2022 at 14 months old with a very rare and high risk cancer called orbital Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer after his mum noticed something wrong in July 2022. Charlee was under alot of stress trying to find out what was wrong with her little boy after being told more than 5 times it was just conjunctivitis and then a block tear duck.
Archue has undergone 9 cycles of very intense chemotherapy and 28 cycles of proton beam radiotherapy in which he was a champ throughout.
He has had a 4 week rest from treatment and then starts the next course on the 9th of June which will last 2 years in the hope for a cure for him.
He has spent the last 6 months in hospital due to getting infections which could be fatal due to his immune system and undergoing intense treatment this has been a big struggle on the family and as a community we want to come together to help raise funds for Archie to support his mum dad and older brother who is 4 years old.
His brother is 4 years old and has spent most of his young childhood in lockdown and now being passed around to family without his mum and dad there due to his brother being in hospital and we as a community really want to give them as much as we can to help for days out, rest breaks as a family especially due to lockdown they didn’t get to start the two boys childhood off making lots of memories.
Myself and other members of the community ( Isle of Dogs) have organised an event for them on the 17th of June 2023 and we have put together some special guest appearances and now trying to be able to raise as much money as possible for them.
I would like to ask if you could kindly donate anything to help this cause Your generous donation will be supporting a good cause and you will be thanked on the night along with the appreciation from the community and an even bigger appreciation from the family.
Regards
Wayne Paul and the rest of the isles of dogs community.
